Business Updates
Typically these posts are all about interior design tips, tricks, trends and ideas that you can take with you and be the decorator in your own home. But this morning, I wanted to write something a little bit different and share a few things on my heart and on my mind, including some updates on the business.
First, some updates on Elevated by Elise:
I am now offering virtual and in-person interior design.
If you live in Denver, CO and are interested in in-person design services, please contact me at elise@elevatedbyelise.com. I am taking on new projects for single rooms, entire homes, apartments, condos, new build - whatever your design needs may be!
If you live anywhere else, you can now book my virtual design packages through my Instagram and website! Go to https://elevatedbyelise.com/services to purchase a design consultation or click “See Options” Under Virtual Design Packages to purchase one, two or three room packages. You can purchase with a credit card or even Apple Pay. How easy is that??
Next, some ideas for how I’m setting myself up for success in 2023:
It’s a new year and that means new possibilities and a new start. But that doesn’t mean you have to start on January 1st and on December 31st look back to see if you achieved everything you hoped or planned or dreamed. New beginnings and fresh starts can happen at any time: the first day of the week, the first day of spring or maybe just a random Wednesday you are feeling particularly inspired.
But for me, this month feels like a good time because it is our last month of living in Buenos Aires before we head back to Colorado. Almost exactly a year ago, my boyfriend, Garrett and I left our home for a year-long adventure in South America. We wanted to get out of our comfort zone, practice our Spanish skills and see new places while we are still young. (PS. I turned 30 this year so if you think you’re too old to do a year abroad, think again!)
We’ve had an incredible experience full of some really challenging times and some unbelievable, life-affirming “I can’t believe we are doing this” times. We’ve traveled to four countries, made some amazing friends, and tried countless new foods. We’ve hiked through Patagonia, discovered Machu Picchu, and stood beneath Iguazu Falls. We drank coffee from a farm in Colombia and watched the Argentina national soccer team win the World Cup. But in just a few short weeks, we are looking forward to being reunited with friends and family and if I’m being honest, certain luxuries we have in the US aka Chick-Fil-A.
As I prepare for the next chapter of my life and my business, my mantra is simple: think positive. I am going into this year trying to quiet my inner critic, eliminate the negative self-talk and instead talk to myself like I would to one of my best friends. “You got this, Elise. You can do whatever you set your mind to.” Because if there’s anything I’ve learned this past year, it’s that we receive the energy that we put out into the world. If we think negatively, we lower our vibration and that causes negative things to enter our life. But if we think positively and root ourselves in gratitude, we raise our energy levels and attract more high-level people and experiences.
Manifestation, affirmations, mindfulness - whatever practice you want to choose, I am a firm believer that positive thoughts bring positive things into our lives. So in 2023, I am choosing to see the good in myself and in others, choosing love over fear, and envisioning the life I want for myself knowing that it can and will in fact come true.
To some of you this may sound a bit silly or ‘woo-woo’ but just try opening yourself up to the idea and see what happens.
Sending out my positive energy to you all, let’s make it happen this year.
xoxo
Elise
